ok fair enough, i still think a hall should cost at least 50k though, thats not alot for a whole guild.

On original topic, i dont see why not, theres plenty of sigils to go round since it drops 3 times as much so why not.
what about a few friends just starting?

this is to make halls available to us casual players not the 50k elitests.

and yes i have bought halls for 50k before the price drop

because the original 75k sigels were the result of hoarding not shortage of sigels.

proof of this is as soon as it was announced people were selling 30 sigel lots on this site to get what they could before the bottom fell out.

give people sigel stacking and the supply drops to nothing to drive the prices back up.

the past hoarders simply prove it would happen again as they have no incentive to sell except Anet is making them sell or store them with limited storage

Can they make it so you can only put 10 sigils in a stack, or is that fixed code so it's 250 or not at all?
Speculation is that the reason stacks are 250 is because the largest number that can be stored in a single byte of data is 256, thus 250 was chosen as a nice round number to limit capacity needed to store data.

No, the reason sigil prices were higher was because the demand was higher than the supply due to the game being new. Now that the game is established there are less sigils being needed which is making the price go down.

[pedantry] 255 actually - 1111 1111 binary, ie 8 bits/1 byte = 255 decimal. 256 would be 0001 0000 0000 binary, a nine-bit number. [/pedantry]

as i just stated the minute Anet announced the increased 3X drop rate they were selling them on this site 30 at a time not counting the ingame fire sale as hoarders dumped.

the prices were down below 40k before the increased drop rate had a chance to even get to market. (from 65k-75k)

the sigils were there but simply being held back.

as proven by the sudden price drop before the increase could have any effect

im pretty sure amazon just wants sigils to be stackable to conserve room, i dont think he wants to inflate the prices or anything...

you can store 256 different numbers if you count 0 in, that was the point

What?

Buy Battle Commendations and Monastery Credits for 100g ea.
Buy Imperial Commendations, Luxon Totems, Equipment Requisitions, Kournan Coins, Ancient Artifacts, and Inscribed Secrets for 200g ea.

There's no risk.

Not every investment has to be into crafting materials.

Purpose of this is to make space. Investing into things that would amount to about a sigil per stack wouldn't save any space at all

Having them stackable would certainly give me more incentive to actually keep them instead of trying to get rid of them so soon to conserve space...

I don't feel like selling them because I have a full storage and I don't feel like investing the money in something else because of the risk involved. I dont see any reason why they shouldn't be stackable so please do this. Also to increase the value of sigils you might want to consider guild hall upgrades being paid with in sigils instead of gold. I feel its a waste of my storage space to have 3/4 areas of it filled with just sigils.

Ty,
AMAZON
the only reason you want this is because you want more money,

as in increase amount of sigils that can be saved, then raise prices.....

needs of many outweigh the needs of few, and since guilds area nice part of the game(social, help etc.) they need to be obtainable, 22k aint bad for a sigil.
